In a heartwarming display of global community spirit, local Rotarian Kate is set to travel to Ghana in July to attend the dedication of the Royal Seed Orphanage Infirmary. The clinic, a beacon of hope and healthcare, was made possible through the efforts of Kate’s parents. The initiative has received overwhelming support from the Raymond Area Rotary members, who have donated essential medical supplies to ensure the clinic is well-equipped to serve the local community. These supplies will accompany Kate on her journey to Ghana, symbolizing the unity and commitment of Rotary to global health and wellness. The clinic’s establishment is also bolstered by a Rotary Global Grant which is in process and will provide additional funding and support for the clinic’s operations and sustainability.

For more information on the project or to learn how you can support similar initiatives, please contact the Raymond Area Rotary Club.

The Raymond Area Rotary Club would like you to join us in our annual Community Flag Project to promote patriotism and to raise funds for charitable causes. Join our friends and neighbors in a patriotic display of American flags!  For a modest annual fee, the Rotary Club will display the American made flag in your front yard - or at your business - on the five most patriotic days of the year:

  • Memorial Day          May 27th
  •  Flag Day                   June 14th
  • Independence Day   July 4th
  • Labor Day                 September 2nd
  • Veterans Day            November 11th
Here’s how it works: Prior to Memorial Day weekend, a Rotary Club member will place a flag holder in the ground on your property.  We will set up a 3’x5’ American-made American flag on a 9’ pole into the ground stake. The flag will be displayed on each holiday for around five days.  It will then installed prior to each holiday and stored until the next holiday. Our flags are American made and supplied by a NH company. Note:  This year we are offering the option of the flag remaining in place for the whole season!

The annual subscription fee is $50. The funds raised from this project will be used to help fund our community projects and some international projects with a strong focus on supporting youth and families.

In 2024, we are going to focus on the five communities of Raymond, Candia, Deerfield, Nottingham, and Epping.
