Whether you’re a longtime resident, new to the area, or just looking to give back, we invite you to join us and be part of something meaningful.

Our History

The Raymond Area Rotary Club was officially chartered in 1990 as part of Rotary International, a global organization founded in 1905. Our club was established by a group of dedicated local leaders who believed in Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self” and saw a need for community-focused service in the greater Raymond area.

Since our founding, we’ve been proud to serve the towns of Candia, Deerfield, Epping, Fremont, Nottingham, and Raymond, New Hampshire. Over the years, our members have led and supported numerous initiatives—from local food drives and youth scholarships to international medical missions and disaster relief efforts.

Through fellowship, collaboration, and a shared passion for helping others, we’ve built a strong legacy of service and continue to grow in both impact and membership. Our history is rooted in community, and our future is focused on creating lasting change—both close to home and across the globe.

Our Vision

Our vision is to foster a community where service, integrity, and collaboration thrive. We strive to create lasting change by addressing the needs of our local communities, while also contributing to global initiatives that promote peace, health, and sustainable development.

We envision a world where individuals and communities come together to tackle challenges and transform lives, one service project at a time. By upholding the Rotary ideals of Service Above Self, we aim to inspire others to act with compassion, work toward shared goals, and make a meaningful difference both near and far.

The Four Way Test

The Rotary Four-Way Test is a guide used by Rotarians to evaluate their personal and professional decisions. The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions:

Of the things we think, say or do
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
And we added number five:  Will it be FUN?
